Central Coast Library Satisfaction Survey

Central Coast Library Satisfaction Survey

Consultation on this project has now concluded.

We wanted to hear from you about what you would like to see for the future of the Central Coast Library Service. We invited the community to tell us how you want to visit, borrow items and use the space and share your dreams for the future of the library experience!

A survey was available to complete online or by visiting one of our ten library branches across the Coast. The results will help inform a five-year strategic plan that will ensure our libraries adapt to the changing needs of our diverse community.

About Our Libraries
Council operates ten library branches across the Central Coast with over 567,000 visitors each year, and readers loaning 1,200,000 items per year.

Council’s library services today extend beyond the physical branches and include a mobile library and home library service, Library @ YourTime well as an extensive range of free online resources and services. Find out more about Our Library Services.

A key factor in the success of our libraries has been their evolution into community centres with public internet access, technology classes, meeting rooms, and a range of programs and events for all ages.

What is the Central Coast Library Satisfaction Survey?

This survey has been designed to find out what matters most to people on the Central Coast when it comes to their library services. We would like to hear what our community would see for the future of the Central Coast Library Service.

Why are you doing this Survey now?

Council is continually reviewing library services and facilities to meet the changing needs of readers and visitors, including how people want to visit, borrow items and enjoy their library experience.

We’re engaging now so that Council’s strategic plans are guided by customer values and deliver the library service levels they would like to see into the future.

Results from the survey will inform a five-year strategic plan that will ensure that our libraries continue to serve our diverse community into the future.
